Sheba Farms Foundation

Empowering Communities through Sustainable Agriculture

Our Goal

We’re raising $250,000 by the end of March 2025 to prepare and plant Teff on a 5-acre plot of land in Capay Valley. This project is a step toward a larger vision of building capacity, transforming agriculture while preserving cultural heritage, and fostering community health.

Capay Valley Project

Sheba Farms is on a mission to bring the ancient Ethiopian grain, Teff, to California. This effort aims to promote sustainable agriculture, support local farmers, and meet the growing demand for healthy, gluten-free options.

Our 5-acre plot in Capay Valley is ready for Teff planting. With your help, we can prepare the land, acquire seeds, and support the labor needed for planting, care, and harvest. This proof-of-concept project is essential to scaling our vision.
